About Jay Schultz

Welcome to our company! Meet Jay, the heart and soul behind our exceptional physical therapy services.

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Chalmette, LA, Jay’s journey in the field of physical therapy began with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Orleans in 2002. Fueling his passion for helping others, he furthered his education at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, graduating with a Master of Physical Therapy in 2004.

Dedicated to continuous improvement, Jay embarked on a transformative path, earning his transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Executive Program in Practice Management through Evidence in Motion in 2019. This commitment to excellence led him to achieve a remarkable milestone on July 1, 2020, becoming the sole Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in Washington Parish and joining the elite 6.4% of all physical therapists nationwide with this prestigious certification.

Throughout his illustrious career, Jay has remained steadfast in the outpatient setting, honing his skills and expertise. With certifications in Trigger Point Dry Needling, Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy, and Level 1 TPI certification, he brings a wealth of knowledge and proficiency to every patient interaction.

A true advocate for his profession, Jay has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Louisiana Physical Therapy Association since 2002, fostering connections and staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Jay finds joy and fulfillment in his personal life. Married to his beloved wife Kasey since 2006, Jay is a proud father to two wonderful children, Jaxon and Allie, and a doting owner of Dixie, their cherished family dog. When he’s not providing exceptional care in the clinic, Jay treasures moments with his family, indulging in weekend getaways, and savoring the rich culinary delights of the region.

With Jay at the helm, our team is dedicated to delivering unparalleled care and achieving optimal outcomes for every individual we serve.
